PJB Business Development Workshop - October 2025- Pensacola Beach
Each of the PJB Business Development Workshops is a unique and dynamic experience. This is so because the Workshop topics are submitted by our attendees and the discussion thereof is interactive such that each attendee participates and learns.
The October 2025 will be our eighteenth Workshop event. Each of our Workshops are designed to optimize the experience and education of our attendees. The Workshops are scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday such that time away from your business is minimized. Our selected venues are family friendly resort type locations which allow our attendees to relax and enjoy the local amenities. Our meeting room is set up to facilitate an interactive conversation. Attendance is limited for this purpose.
Our Workshop days begin each morning at 6:45 AM with a full buffet breakfast. This affords sufficient time for each of our attendees to be in the meeting room when we begin our session at 8:00 AM. Coffee breaks occur at about 10 AM and attendees are free to leave the room to take a call, or whatever, as needed.
Friday will be a special day at the Pensacola Workshop. A number of our attendees will be taking their ACE/BCE exam from about 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. We have been proctoring these exams for our attendees for years now. In fact, the percentage of ACE/BCE professionals may be the greatest at a PJB Workshop than any other industry meeting in the country. Please note that we provide ACE/BCE exam preparation guidance and exam proctoring at no additional cost as a benefit to our PJB attendees and group members.
On Friday evening we will host our 2nd Annual Award Celebration buffet dinner. Here we will celebrate those who have successfully earned their ACE/BCE credentials and present the Charles M. Evans Memorial Award for Business Excellence.
This award was established to honor the memory of our dear friend and industry colleague whose business achievements exemplified the purpose of the PJB Business Development Workshops. The memorial award will be presented to recognize those individuals who have attained such success.
Each Workshop day is scheduled from 8:00 AM to about 12:00 Noon. We often go a bit beyond Noon due to the nature of the topic discussions. The timing of about four hours each day is purposeful as it is considerate of adult learning and the law of diminishing marginal returns. Those who have attended multi -day conferences have experienced the fatigue and information overload which may occur after about four hours. This won't happen here.
We pack a lot of information in these 4+ hours each day but, the learning doesn’t end there. Our daily schedule allows for our group to network, continue business related discussions and share comradery while enjoying the local amenities together.
Our PJB group culture is different here for various reasons and has been enjoyed by our industry family members these many years. We have built a culture of industry colleagues which has proven to be lasting and beneficial for all.
